On April 2, 2018, the Court of Appeals suspended Judge Cicale, with pay, following his arrest on a felony burglary charge. On May 8, 2018, the Court issued a decision continuing the suspension with pay. On September 13, 2019, Judge Cicale pleaded guilty to one count of Attempted Burglary in the Second Degree, a felony. On September 27, 2019, the Court issued a decision continuing the suspension without pay.
